Today we’re super excited to announce WP Simple Pay 4.7.6!

The latest version of WP Simple Pay brings even greater flexibility to both you and your customers. With dynamic default field values, you can easily pre-fill payment form fields based on other information, reducing the time it takes to complete a payment. Additionally, you can now offer your customers the option to pay with Affirm, a buy now, pay later option with flexible financing.

Offer Flexible Financing with Affirm

Affirm is a popular payment method in the US and Canada that gives your customers a way to split purchases over a series of payments.

Affirm offers multiple payment plan options: Affirm Pay in 4 interest-free, bi-weekly installments or monthly installments that can go up to 36 months. Installment plan terms are based on factors such as customer credit, prior account history, payment amount, and more.

After a payment is completed with Affirm, the full amount is made available to your Stripe account upfront, and then Affirm handles collecting the remaining balance directly from the customer over time. 

Buy now, pay later options can give your customers more flexibility at checkout, boosting average order value by as much as 85% in some cases. 

Dynamic Default Values

We’re also excited to announce dynamic default values that allow form fields to be context-aware and automatically display information about the current user, current page, or even information stored in the current URL.

It is now easier than ever to increase conversion rates by pre-filling payment form fields when you have previously collected information with dynamic default values.
