Terms & Conditions

Our website grants you non-exclusive limited license to use WP Simple Pay and other products sold through our website (https://wpsimplepay.com) (the “products/software”) in accordance with these Terms of Service (the “license”) issued and operated by our company, Sandhills Development, LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Plugin Licensing

All products are licensed under the GNU general public license (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html).

Acceptable Use Policy

Sandhills Development, LLC fully embraces the open source philosophy and understands that a necessary consequence of that philosophy includes that our free and open source code can be used in ways that we cannot control or predict. However, we reserve the right to refuse our services (our licensing, priority support, and any affiliated services) to any organization at our sole discretion. Part of our commitment to building a people-first company, is ensuring that our services are never used in a way that would promote hate, violence, or racial intolerance.

Refund Policy

If you have problems getting our products to work, we are happy to provide you with a full refund within 14 days of the original purchase. Just contact us through https://wpsimplepay.com/contact.

We may ask you for feedback on the plugin and appreciate the opportunity to help solve any problem you have. Refunds do not apply to product updates or annual renewals. No refunds will be given after 14 days from the initial purchase. Please note that by purchasing the plugin, you agree to the terms of the Refund Policy. We are not liable to cover any differences in exchange rates between the time you purchased and the time you are refunded.

Automatic Updates

Automatic updates are available to license holders who have an active and valid subscription and license key. Automatic updates are available as long as the license key generated from the purchase is valid and active. Installs can be deactivated at any time from your account area on this site to free up install usage.

If there is an issue updating or your plugin or your host does not support automatic updates, plugin updates may be downloaded from your account area on this site.

License Usage

WP Simple Pay grants each customer one or more non-transferable license(s) to use the software for internal use, and as defined by the terms set in the customer’s chosen license package.

Where the license package allows the software to be used on multiple sites the customer/license-holder may not sell the originally-purchased license key provided by WP Simple Pay, to other users of the license (such as clients) for commercial benefit. Additionally, the customer may not sublicense, to any person or entity, any rights to distribute the software or license key. WP Simple Pay will only provide support services to the original customer/license-holder with a legitimate license key, and consider any other uses of this license key for support queries as fraudulent.

Plugin Delivery

After we have processed your payment successfully, you will receive an email with your order number and other purchase information. Your license key is available in your account area on this site along with your plugin downloads. You can download the plugin by logging into the account created for you when purchasing the plugin and clicking on the appropriate link.

Should you not receive an email containing your information, you can contact us through https://wpsimplepay.com/contact to request your purchase information.

Access to re-download purchased files will be granted so long as your license key is valid. If a license key expires, download access to the associated files will be discontinued until such time as the license key is renewed.

Discount Policy

On occasion, WP Simple Pay may offer purchase incentives in the form of subscription discount codes. Discount codes are applied on an introductory basis, meaning that are only applied to the first term of the subscription selected. Discount codes do not perpetuate with the life of the subscription. After your initial term has passed, subscriptions will be charged the regular price.

Price Changes

Sandhills Development, LLC reserves the right, at any time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, a support license with or without notice. Prices of all products are subject to change.

Subscriptions & Automatic Renewal

WP Simple Pay is sold as an automatically recurring subscription that renews each year on the anniversary of the purchase date.

This subscription will automatically renew at the end of the annual license term unless the purchaser cancels their subscription prior to the automatic renewal date.

Subscription renewals are automatically processed annually on the anniversary of your original purchase. The license renewal will continue and remain valid for each one (1) year unless the subscription is canceled prior to the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account on this site.

If you choose to cancel your subscription you will no longer receive updates and support for the extension when your license expires.

If you choose to cancel your subscription, all WP Simple Pay features related to Stripe subscriptions will not continue to function.

Lowest Price Guarantee

If you find that we’re offering a lower price (e.g. a coupon code) within 30 days of your purchase, let us know and we’ll refund you the difference.

Email Policy

Sandhills Development, LLC may on occasion send you email notifications related to your plugin licenses. These transactional emails may include notification of licensing changes, changes to our terms and conditions, license expiration notices and other transactional emails related to your purchases.

Upon purchasing our products, your email address will be added to a list that receives product updates. You can always opt-out from this email list using the link provided in each email.

Support

Sandhills Development, LLC sells and distributes WP Simple Pay and other plugins “as is” and with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you would like, or that they will be compatible with all third-party components and plugins. We do not provide support services for WordPress itself or other WordPress plugins we have not developed.

Support for plugins sold and distributed by WP Simple Pay is only available for those who have an active, paid license.

We will provide instruction and/or supporting documentation regarding setup, configuration, and technical troubleshooting as it pertains to our products. We do not provide support for third-party integrations and may ask that you disable these add-ons to better assist you. We do not provide customizations, development assistance, or guidance on how to change the functionality of a product outside of its intended use.

Support and updates are granted for one year after the original purchase based on the license you have purchased. After one year is completed, the purchaser must renew their license in order to continue receiving support and updates for the items purchased. For purchases that include an automatically renewing subscription, support will be provided for as long as the subscription remains active.

Support and updates for plugins sold are provided as long as the plugin is actively in development. Should any one of the following occur, Sandhills Development, LLC will no longer be responsible for providing support for the plugin:

– WP Simple Pay (the plugin) is no longer actively developed as a viable product under Sandhills Development, LLC.
– WP Simple Pay (the plugin) or the parent company is purchased or bought out by another company.
– WordPress is no longer actively developed.
– Stripe (https://stripe.com) discontinues their service or is no longer actively maintained.

While we attempt to provide the best support possible for our plugins, we do not guarantee that any particular support query can, or will be answered to the extent, or within a timeframe that the inquirer is completely satisfied.

License holders cannot distribute, freely giveaway, or resell their license key. The license key is only transferable by contacting us and requesting an official transfer of the license to a new owner. The license is intended to be used on the license holders website(s). Client site usage is permitted in situations where the license holder maintains an ongoing relationship with the client as a consultant. Only the license holder is permitted to request support or access support resources.

License holders are not permitted to re-post support content or documentation on any external websites, social media outlets, etc. Posting screen captures of this content is also prohibited. Violation will be grounds for immediate termination of the support license and all access to support content and product updates will be discontinued.
